The cover under this warranty applies only if the following conditions are met.

Definitions:

• You, your, yourself means the person named on the invoice relating to the Engine Rebuild.
• We, us, our, RRP, relates to Ryan Rotary Performance (RRP) Ltd.
• Breakdown, Failure means the sudden and unexpected failure of a part or parts arising from any permanent mechanical, electrical or electronic fault, which causes the part or parts to stop working, and means that it needs repairing or replacing before it will work properly.
• Period of cover means the length of time that this warranty applies. Either as Time or Calendar based.
• Schedule of covered parts means any mechanical, electrical and electronic parts which is listed within this warranty and OEM service schedule. Where there is conflict the RRP schedule should be followed.
• Part(s) means any original or RRP approved mechanical, electrical and electronic part which formed part of the vehicle when it was new.
• Covered part(s) means any and all replaced parts and is listed in the schedule of covered parts and is covered under this warranty. Including:
  • All Engine Internal components which are located behind the Front cover to the rear iron plate.
  • All Major Engine components including, rotors, Housings and Irons.
  • Fixtures and Fittings Required for Engine Rebuilds.
• Excluded part(s) means any original or RRP approved mechanical, electrical and electronic part which did not form part of the Engine Rebuild and is not listed on the schedule of covered parts including:
  • Catalytic Converters and Exhaust components.
  • Ignition Coils.
  • lambda sensors
  • Clutch Systems.
  • All electronic systems including Fuel Systems and Oil Metering System.
  • Engine Ancillaries such as Alternators, Intake manifolds and Water systems.

Ryan Rotary Performance Ltd Engine Warranty (Standard)

Subject to the following terms and conditions your warranty is a fixed period warranty which covers the engines Covered parts for 12 Months from Installation (or Delivery if engine is not installed by RRP) and/or 24,000 Miles.

The warranty covers engine breakdown which is a result of a failure of a covered part, it does not for example cover engine detonation because you have now bolted a turbo to it. In addition all ECU/engine tuning if not performed by RRP must have approval in writing if performed via a third party for the warranty to remain extant.

Service Schedule (Conditions):

• You must have fitted genuine Mazda OEM Rev C or RRP Ignition Coils fitted.
• You must have fitted an OEM Catalytic Converter or an RRP Approved Metallic Catalytic Converter.
• You must keep to an engine “break in” period of 1000 miles for which the engine must not exceed 5000rpms
• You must service the engine no later than 1500 miles post rebuild with the following:
  • Oil Filter
  • New Motul 300V 5W-30 is recommended for highly modified engines or track cars, Mazda OEM specification oils should be used for road vehicles. (Fully Synthetic 5W-40 may be used if using an RRP COFS adapter or SOHN system).
• You must adhere to the following service schedule post the first service above.
  • Engine Oil and Filter replacement every 6000 miles or 12 Months whichever is sooner.
  • Spark Plug Replacement every 6000 miles (NGK RE9B-T, RE8C-L and RE7C-L)
  • Air Filter Replacement every 12,000 miles

Ryan Rotary Performance Ltd Extended Engine Warranty (Standard)

Cost £500 which may be purchased at any time while the car is still in warranty giving a total of 24 months cover.

Subject to the following terms and conditions you may extend your engine warranty for further 12 Month fixed period warranty which covers the engines Covered parts for a further 12 Months (TOTAL 24 Months) from Installation (or Delivery if engine is not installed by RRP) and/or 30,000 Miles.

The warranty covers engine breakdown which is a result of a failure of a covered part, it does not for example cover engine detonation because you have now bolted a turbo to it.  Extended warranty does not cover track use and any engine modification must be agreed with RRP.

Service Schedule (Conditions):

• You must have fitted genuine Mazda OEM Rev C or RRP Ignition Coils fitted.
