Normal Rx8 NGK plugs cannot stand up to the arduous conditions they experience on a fast road/ track environment, the result is after a short time you may find that the road going spark plug set loose their electrodes and fall into the combustion chamber, this can have major consequences. After a lot of track miles we have found the R7420-10/9 -NGK Racing Spark Plug to be the perfect set for extreme track and racing use on naturally aspirated Rx8’s giving both great performance and durability.

This set is a step up from the track set within the shop and is also strongly recommend for anyone with forced induction applications to stop pre-ignition occurring with potentially serious consequences.
