RRP Billet Aluminum Oil Sump Plate S2/R3 Rx8 (2009-2012)

The steel elements of the Series 2 Rx8 sumps are all looking a bit worse for wear these days, the pressed steel sump floor is the weak link in the S2 design which Mazda did make great enhancements over the S1. We have decided to not offer a complete replacement for the OEM sump which is a great design but instead offer a fit and forget solution to the only one weak element which in turn keeps costs down.

The RRP Billet sump floor will last the life of the vehicle, offered with an O-ring rather than sealant and finished off with RRP Insignia.

Design Features:

Machined from one piece of  6061 Aluminum and Anodised in Black  for corrosion protection this sump plate will outlast the lifetime of the car.

• Relocated Drain plug – AN8 ORB 3/4 16UNF
• Sealed with an O-ring cord, no more sealant required.
• Extremely tough will withstand significant impacts which would destroy Aluminum cast sumps.
