Extended Engine Warranty

You may extend your standard engine warranty by an additional 12-month fixed period, giving a total of 24 months’ coverage from the date of installation (or delivery, if not fitted by RRP) and/or up to 30,000 miles.

The extended warranty covers labour only during the second year and applies only to failures caused by a covered internal engine component.

This warranty does not cover detonation, forced-induction conversions, track use, or any engine modifications not agreed in advance with RRP.

Service Requirements (Mandatory)

• Break-in period: First 1,000 miles must not exceed 5,000rpm.
• Initial service (by 1,500 miles):
  • New oil filter
  • Motul 300V 5W-30 engine oil
    (or fully synthetic 5W-40 if using an RRP COFS Adapter or SOHN system)
• Ongoing servicing:
  • Engine oil and filter every 6,000 miles or 12 months (whichever is sooner)
  • Spark plugs every 6,000 miles (NGK RE9B-T, RE8C-L, RE7C-L)
  • Air filter every 12,000 miles
