Series 1 engines (Rx8’s from 2003-2008) suffer from premature bearing wear, to help relieve this issue an upgraded oil pressure regulator can be fitted which increases the oil pressure from 75PSI to 95PSI. in addition, with this option there is no need to use the thicker 10W-40 oil, RRP recommend the manufacturers specification 5W-30 oil.

This is a process where material is removed from the housing to leave a perfectly flat surface, only the best condition housings are put forward for this process. This is as close as you’ll get to a new Rotor Housing at a fraction of the cost.
